Four

Social networking:feh. I'd rather watch a Steven Segal movie than create a profile on Facebook or Myspace. And I hate Steven Segal with a fiery passion. Social networking sites remind me of the dreaded Christmas newsletter:communication from someone, who, if I knew them better or really cared about them, I would already know all about. So, I'm not a fan. But the Book Lush is a misanthrope with no friends, so why listen to me? I'm sure it's all very great, but the thought of posting the details of my humdrum life is too horrible to contemplate.

  2. Zounds! A voice of reason. OK, I'm not crazy, then. Or rather, we're both crazy. Or we're the only 2 sane ones. This craze nauseates me.

  3. Extra credit: How many chins does Steven Segal have? I adore him & his movies, but only when I'm feeling utterly depraved.

  4. How can you HATE Steven Seagal? He has to be THE most talented actor we have today. He is the Jimmy Stewart of our era-the Gregory Peck even! What dynamic range, why just think back to when he was: Wrongly imprisoned, he escapes to take his revenge and prove his innocence...

Or how about the time he plays a Good Cop in a bad mood and:
his partner was killed in the line of duty by a drug dealer, now he's looking for revenge...

Then, to really shake things up he plays:
Mason Storm, a 'go it alone' cop, is gunned down at home. The intruders kill his wife, and think they've killed both Mason and his son too. (those scenes were he is just lying there, as if he's in a coma-MASTERFUL!)When Mason wakes up, everyone is in danger - himself, his son, his best friend, his nurse - but most of all those who arranged for his death. This time he's out for vengeance. (Which is totally different than revenge.)

Out for Vengeance. You know, that would make a GREAT film title now that I think about it...
